James Fisher combines its asset monitoring capabilities under the new brand of James Fisher Strainstall
James Fisher Strainstall will incorporate both Strainstall – a leading developer of load monitoring solutions – and the equipment and asset monitoring services for renewables, construction, bridges, highways, and rail of its sister company, James Fisher Testing Services (JFTS). The businesses will continue to provide their existing market-leading product offerings to their respective customers.
As part of its commitment to excellent customer service, this consolidation will increase the global coverage of James Fisher’s asset monitoring services by formally integrating JFTS’s capabilities into Strainstall’s existing network. This will enable the combined global customers to benefit from an extended support structure and the asset monitoring and R&D expertise of both teams to answer a wider range of project scopes.
Jonathan Simpson Tarling, Managing Director at Strainstall, said:
“I am excited that we are now able to grow these two excellent businesses together and to explore new opportunities for technological development."
The new brand combines Strainstall’s 55 years of experience in asset monitoring with the wider James Fisher group’s global reach and depth of expertise. With a heritage spanning over 170 years, James Fisher is widely recognised for its commitment to excellence and continuous innovation, and adopting this brand will strengthen Strainstall and JFTS’s established positions in their core markets, while helping to unlock new opportunities in the evolving renewables sector under the wider James Fisher Renewables brand.
