James Fisher Strainstall appoints Kinetic Cold Technology as its agent for Malaysia
James Fisher Strainstall (JF Strainstall) has named Kinetic Cold Technology (KCT) – a leading equipment supplier for the oil and gas industry – as its new agent for Malaysia. As part of our commitment to excellent service, the company was chosen on the basis of its extensive network in the region, along with its in-depth technical expertise. Leveraging this, KCT will help to connect Malaysian customers with our highly-accurate load monitoring systems, which are tailored to meet the unique challenges of high-assurance E&P projects worldwide.
KCT will operate separately from JF Strainstall Malaysia, which will continue to focus on the structural health monitoring service requirements of its customers, rather than the delivery of load monitoring equipment and systems.
JF Strainstall’s load measurement technology complements KCT’s existing equipment offering, which includes specialised flowmeters, pumps, and valves for upstream operations. This partnership will provide our Malaysian customers with a single point of contact for all of their equipment requirements, while helping them to keep pace with the fast-moving Malaysian oil and gas market by streamlining their procurement process.
“We are delighted to announce that Kinetic Cold Technology has joined our global agent network. The company is well positioned to deliver first-class services for the Malaysian market and will support us in meeting the unique load monitoring requirements of our oil and gas customers in the region.”
– Frank Rose, Business Development Manager at JF Strainstall
KCT were also appointed in response to a growing demand in the region for suppliers that provide services on a localised level. Based in the heart of Kuala Lumpar, the agent will meet this demand by providing a responsive source of regionally-tailored support for our Malaysian customers. With its local contacts, the company will also help JF Strainstall to unlock new opportunities in the region – particularly in the FPSO market.
Additionally, the partnership enables the team to overcome the logistical challenges of COVID-19. By establishing a local point of contact in the region, JF Strainstall can minimise the need for international travel, which helps to keep its employees and customers safe during this difficult time.
